I met Sheila Showalter during our relocation to the Goshen area. We've been relocated several times (4 states, 7 cities) and have owned in all but one location. I say that to point out that we've worked with MANY realtors over the years. She now stands at the top of the list. I found her after a disastrous start with a Realtor assigned by our Corporate Relo team. Sheila was patient. She took the time to listen. REALLY listen. Her experience and deep list of contacts smoothed the path to our new(to us) home in so many ways - from pointing out future traffic/construction plans, future building plans, shopping options, mortgage officers, contractors, hvac, home inspectors, dining options- even introduced us to one of our new neighbors during the walk thru of our new home. But Sheila's real expertise came into play when we found this home. We were not the only people who thought this was the right home. We'd never been in a competitive situation in our past - but Sheila has! She educated us on our options and helped us write up the offer. I shared our story with our new neighbor days after closing. He had just listed his home "for sale by owner" and I offered her name in case he changed his mind. Turns out he recognized her name! She'd been the buying agent for the buyer of his last house! Days later her sign was in front of his house - and a few more days after that, it was "pending". Sheila is an experienced realtor with an obvious love of her career avocation (I swear she was called to this business) She listens carefully, knows the area well and helped make these Newcomers feel welcome.

she was so great working with our schedules (part of the time we were in fort wayne looking in goshen and she was so flexible!) she's great at sending houses that fit what you're wanting and getting you set up to look as soon as possible! she gives you as much knowledge as she can about the houses you look at and (being first time homeowners) helped us think about things that maybe we wouldn't have otherwise, and she's very personable and friendly and i would highly recommend her!! :)
